All our seed paper at Custom Earth Promos are printed with digital printers through a 4-color process. Sometimes if the quantity and design demands, the paper may be offset-printed. A proprietary printing system is employed that ensures exceptional germination standards. The ink is sprayed onto the paper, which gives better results that other techniques yield.
It is for quality purposes that we need your design has light ink coverage. But remember your art can always include text, logos and full-color graphics. In case you have any doubts, feel free to submit your art work to us for guidance. Few small changes can often make a huge difference overall.
We operate many vintage letterpress machines which deboss or stamp your art onto the paper. You can opt for only deboss or deboss and print of up to two colors. Germination rates are not significantly decreased because of this process.
You can choose from a range of seeds for your paper. Our paper is known to have grown into grasses, vegetables, trees, flowers, herbs and much more. Our paper is made by hand and in small batches, which will guarantee the success of it growing.
Sometimes, certain seed varieties are more expensive than others, while some are too big to be used. Owing to annual harvests, many seeds might not be available at reasonable prices and in large quantities.
