    Mine charged through a basic plastic case with no trouble. Just remember the phone needs to be sideways, which took me a second to figure out.

    We were looking for desk phone stands for a conference room refresh, not something decorative that would just sit there. These have been practical during long calls because phones can stay within view. The horizontal charging setup is worth mentioning to anyone putting them out for others to use. We put a tiny QR code below our logo, and it scanned on the first try. The black print also stayed clear after several people handled the demo unit.

    The first thing I noticed was how easy it is to see incoming notifications while the phone is sitting there. No need to prop it against a mug anymore. We tested a couple of phones with regular cases, and both connected normally. Our logo is printed near the front edge, where it shows without covering the charging area. It has held up fine after being wiped down a few times.
