Programs & Formats We Accept

Vector artwork (AI or EPS format) is always preferred. Vector images can be resized indefinitely without loss of quality or pixelation and can be created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. High-resolution PDF, PSD, JPEG, and TIFF files are also accepted.

Resolution

600 PPI or above is recommended. 300 PPI is the minimum printable resolution.

16-point font or larger is preferred for silkscreen printing. Thin, serif font styles are not recommended. 2 point lines or thicker are suggested.

Silkscreen Printing

Silkscreen printing is an affordable and common technique used to decorate promotional items. Injecting ink through a very fine mesh screen onto an underlying item, then curing the ink, is the basis of silkscreen printing.

Multi-color Silkscreen Printing

For logos with 2 or more colors, we recommend sending your artwork for pre-approval to your sales representative or directly to our art department at: [email protected]

Because silkscreen printing requires the item to pass through the press an additional time for each color, a slight shift or movement may prevent certain logos from printing optimally. This print method works best when the colors in your logo are more than ¼ inch from each other and do not touch or overlap.

Full Color/CMYK Printing

Also known as "full color" or "4 color process" printing, CMYK is a printing method that uses screen separations of the four basic printing colors, Cyan Blue (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y), and Black (K) to create a vast color spectrum with photographic quality.

In-stock paper bags will utilize a heat transfer to achieve a full-color (CMYK) imprint. Due to this method, imprints on paper bags will have an outline of bag color around the artwork. This adhesive layer may appear as a transparent or frosty outline around the art.

Custom Pantone Colors

Pantone Matching System (PMS) Colors are an internationally recognized standard color palate. We use the Pantone Plus Series for graphics and multimedia. PMS color matching is available.

Print Location

Logos are printed centered within the imprint space at the maximum size unless otherwise specified.

Halftones

One-color halftones can be printed on our items with the silkscreen printing method. Designs with gradients or blends may need alterations for optimum print results.
