The front pocket is actually useful, not just there for looks. I slipped the meeting notes inside and they stayed put while I carried it around.

The front pocket held a few folded handouts without making the cover bow out. That was the part I wasn't sure about from the photos. We left these in a common area for people to grab as needed.
