I tried it at lunchtime with dry food on one side and water on the other. Having both in one piece meant less stuff to carry outside. The base stayed steady enough on the patio while my terrier ate. It was also simple to empty before heading back in.

These arrived with the bowls opening evenly, which mattered since we ordered a larger batch. I rinsed a few test pieces after using treats and water in them. They dried quickly on a towel and were ready to pack again. The logo stayed smooth to the touch, not like a thick label stuck on top.
