The cup catches the chopped bits instead of letting them scatter across the counter. Such a simple thing, but it made dinner prep less annoying.

I am not great with knives when I am rushing, so this has been a nice change. I used it for strawberries for a dessert topping, then rinsed it out before dinner. The blade area stays enclosed while you use it. My teenager also found it simple to operate.

Oh wow! This was immediately useful for the lunch prep we had going on at home. I used it for carrots while someone else worked on the rest of the recipe. The handle did not slip around, even with damp hands. It is the kind of tool that gets used instead of sitting in a drawer.
