OXO Good Grips Chopper

I gave one to a coworker to try before we put the rest out, and she used it for mushrooms in a pasta sauce. The pieces were pretty even without much effort. She liked that the contents stayed in the cup while she worked. We had a few people ask where they could get one for home.

Oh wow! This was immediately useful for the lunch prep we had going on at home. I used it for carrots while someone else worked on the rest of the recipe. The handle did not slip around, even with damp hands. It is the kind of tool that gets used instead of sitting in a drawer.
